Job Description

Location: REMOTE
Salary: $40-50/hr, some flexibility
Description:

Remote Software Support Engineer (2 needed)
Remote, but East Coast
Contract to hire
Interviews: Teams video interviews Tuesday 10/05 at 2:30pm and 3pm CST
Target Start date: October 18th

Top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? Incident management, problem management, war room response, application monitoring

What are the work hours? 8am - 5pm, on call as needed

Summary of team: 3 off shore, 5 onshore. Mix of analysts, SREs and engineers

MUST Haves:
•MySQL query experience
•Splunk experience
•Java code troubleshooting
•Strong documentation skills
•Good communication
•Ability to be assertive yet still have great customer service

Day to day:
On a day-to-day basis this resource will provide Application production support. This person will troubleshoot incident tickets, and also have to do heavy analyzing of issues and will assist in updates. Most of their day will be taking tickets, however a large piece of their day will be analyzing what the actual problem is and sending it to the appropriate development team to get it fixed correctly. Every ticket that comes in must be looked at by on an onshore resource before being determined if it can be troubleshot by an offshore team member.
