Remote Parts Sales Associate

Position Summary

As a Remote Parts Specialist you will be responsible for providing customers with accurate parts solutions as quickly and efficiently as possible over the phone. Prioritizing customer satisfaction is vital to this role, often times this can be a customer's first interaction with the company. Being patient, polite and customer centric is a must. This role is responsible for accuracy in sales transactions and for following up with customer inquiries. Remote Part Specialist need a genuine concern for customers in order to establish a partnership with the customer so that they rely on this role for all their parts needs and can trust they will be taken care of every time. 4Rivers Equipment is current seeking qualified candidates for an available, remote position.

Essential Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that all customers have a positive dealership experience
  • Quickly answer phone calls in professional manner for multiple parts departments
  • Identify customer needs by asking questions and listening
  • Assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts, provide recommendations
  • Utilize John Deere parts catalogs for agricultural and industrial equipment as well as miscellaneous online part catalogs for allied suppliers
  • Fulfill customer orders online and over the phone, following company procedures
  • Communicate both internally and externally with professionalism
  • Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers
  • Cooperate with team to reach goals and maintain organization through the department
  • Keep work area neat, clean, and organized
  • Maintain knowledge of all active promotions in order to increase customer awareness
  • Conduct business while maintaining the company Core Values

Education and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to self-manage and handle fast paced call volume
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and math skills
  • Parts experience required, knowledge of agricultural and/or industrial equipment
  • Extensive experience in John Deere parts catalog look-up preferred

Rate of pay commensurate with knowledge, experience, ability and location.
