Remote National Sales RFP Specialist

A Remote National Sales RFP Specialist position is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. In this role, you will have ownership over the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The RFP Specialist will provide critical coordination, development and oversight of all RFP submissions and responses, working in conjunction with departments across the company to ensure that all proposals are developed in a clear, concise and professional manner. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Please note this is a temp-hire position starting in May/June 2023. The annual salary for this position is in the range of $65,000-$75,000 depending on your level of experience.

Essential Functions:

Researches and recommends appropriate subscriptions to bid source websites

Registers for local, county, state and federal RFP web sites; tracks and recommends action on RFPs that meet Company expertise

Develops and maintains referral source contacts

Responsible for the RFP proposal process from inception including development of proposal strategy, gathering information, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and corporate personnel

Submits questions to the contracting agency/company when necessary

Define deliverables, pricing and timelines within strategy sessions that include diverse stakeholders and SMEs

Completes the writing and coordination of responses to RFP questions that promote company capability and advance its strategic imperatives

Follows-up regularly with SMEs on outstanding requests

Assists in the contract renewal process for all Behavioral Health business unit contracts

Prepares well-positioned and clearly articulated Executive Summaries that analyzes and measures metrics and data to provide accurate and useful information to management for decision making

Demonstrates appropriate leadership and project management skills to complete complex proposals

Inputs and updates RFP data into CRM tool

Assures a constant and robust pipeline to meet current and projected growth goals

Meets targeted revenue goals

Education and Experience:

Bachelor degree required

3+ years of experience with the RFP proposal process

3+ years of experience with proposal generation software programs

3+ years of project management experience
