What kinds of interactions will you have with our borrowers? You will be using your customer service and problem solving to assist borrowers on their closing request when it comes to preparing funding to their mortgage accounts. Typical tasks might include collaborating with client, borrowers, processor, loan officers, and third-party title companies to ensure timely signing and preparation of documents, ensure quality review on documents and loan pipeline management, and evaluate internal and external compliance audit finding and remediate those loans as well handling complex borrower issues or complaints. While performing the duties, you will view and have access with confidential financial data, ensure all regulatory requirements have been met such by the closing disclosure timing, and a change in circumstance. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Required: The ability to work from home in a virtual environment where you will need the following; 10 Mbps of high-speed internet connectivity (unfortunately, hotspots aren't fast enough) A personal landline or cell phone to receive calls Exceptional active listening skills with ability to paraphrase what is being stated to validate understanding Ability to navigate multiple software programs and detailed knowledge of mortgage closing processes A self-starter who demonstrates a strong sense of urgency with great problem-solving, organization skills and ability to multi-task high volumes pipelines Solid verbal communication skills with ability to articulate communication clearly and effectively to the borrower and management team Solid writing skills with ability to write clearly and concisely Ability to multitask and follow assignments to completion with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and can prioritize competing tasks while maintaining a high degree of quality/compliance accuracy while meeting deadlines Ability to effectively handle escalated issues by utilizing problem solving skills Ability to work flexible schedules and work overtime as necessary Excellent basic mathematical problem-solving capabilities such as addition, subtraction, multiply, divide and decimals Analytical ability to test and evaluate systems/processes to validate effectiveness and/or make improvements recommendations Proven track record of both high productivity, deadline driven with a high-quality of work in a customer focused environment Effective experience utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of products KEY QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience Required: 2 years of customer support experience in a call center environment Proficient personal computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office/Window based applications Proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume, customer focused environment High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred: Previous mortgage experience preferred Bachelor's degree (B.
