Location remote Duration 6 mo's (strong possibility of extension or conversion to hire) Seeking to hire Medical Coding Supervisor will function as Team Leads (Risk Adjustment Coding). Multiple Openings. Coding typically encompasses review of client coding guidelines and coding platform functionality. Coders undertake coding of medical charts capturing all dates of services and mapping HCC diagnoses. The Team Lead will provide oversight to a team of Coders and QAs and provide training and consulting where necessary. Responsibilities include Responsible for oversight of team's performance with respect to contractual requirements Metrics supporting process improvements. Works with Quality Training teams to identify and improve teams deliverables identify improvement opportunities mentor coders. Demonstrate strong leadership operational planning and presentational skills as well as display good judgment and critical thinking to address business problems that touch upon the coding unit's work. Facilitate conflict resolutions and counsels' staff. Provides additional orientation and skill development on an ongoing basis. Reviews client grievances and participates in conflict resolution with clients and staff as needed. Maintains regularly scheduled meetings with the division personnel to discuss performance and lad improvement initiatives. Qualification required Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university nursing business administration or related to the health industry from an accredited school ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience clinical work medical coding medical billing or care management experience. HeShe must demonstrate the ability to oversee the chart review life cycle from scheduling access collecting images coding chart and updating data software.
