Job Description

Kelly Technology has an opening for a **Remote IT Security Risk Analyst** to work with my client.

Duration: 1 year


+ Performs and/or facilitates information security risk assessments of existing or new services, departments, technologies, and Suppliers in partnership with Unit counterparts.

+ Communicates risk assessment findings, partners with Units to plan for and prioritize remediation.

+ Provides training and consultative advice to stakeholders across campus that enables them to make informed information security risk management decisions and identify opportunities to improve risk posture.

+ Maintains inventory of protected data and risk assessments in partnership with Unit Information Security Leads. Maintains Information Security Risk Register.

+ Maintains and provides user support for the governance risk management and compliance platform.

+ Supports and executes security awareness program, phishing program and updates related resources (e.g., security website) as required.


+ Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or similar.

+ Minimum four years related experience, including at least two years conducting risk or compliance assessments

+ Understanding of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST 800-171, ISO27002/27002, PCI, GDPR)

+ Ability to document and communicate assessment results clearly and concisely

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver quality work

+ Attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize works efficiently and effectively


• Experience with ServiceNow and/or OneTrust.

• Security-related certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, SANS GIAC)

• Higher education and/or research institution experience

• Understanding of higher education legal and regulatory environment (e.g., FERPA, GLBA)

• Understanding of data classification concepts
