Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across three continents. While we work in science, theres no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And thats the kind of work we want to be part of.
Lonza has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Remote- IP Division Head/ Sr. Legal Counsel, to oversee all aspects of intellectual property for our Cell & Gene Technologies & Bioscience Division (C&G Division). In a global capacity the incumbent division head provides IP and business related support to the C&G Division including transactional support and establishing and driving IP strategy for the division. The incumbent division head will lead an IP team to establish and achieve setdepartment and division goals. The role of the incumbent division head will require an ability to address complex global IP issues (requiring engagement and knowledge in key jurisdictions of EP, US, CN) and engage with business leadership and agency authorities. The incumbent will be required to have a strong understanding of C&G Division technology and resolve legal issues impacting the division and business unit strategy.
