Remote IMS Systems Programmer

A Global Health Insurance Provider is seeking a Remote IMS Systems Programmer to join their Data Center team. The organizations IMS database runs entirely on the IBM Mainframe. This individual will be instrumental in collaboratively sustaining the IMS subsystem database which takes 5.7 billion calls per day. The primary function of this person will be to provision, test and support the Data Center Mainframe and make needed enhancements, monitor the environment, troubleshoot and resolve issues, update servers, patches and overall, support the IMS Mainframe infrastructure.

5 -10+ years experience with IBM Mainframe

5+ years of experience as an IMS Systems Programmer

RACF experience

Knowledge of JCL, IBM Utilities, DFDSS, IMS Performance Analyzer, IMS Omegamon, and CICS

Must have prior experience in supporting IBM z/Series Mainframes configured in a parallel sysplex environment
