Our client, a foreign financial institution is seeking a Human Resources Assistant. This is a remote role. This is a good opportunity for someone looking to gain some HR experience and work in a small environment. The role is an open-ended temporary assignment. Candidate must be reliable and willing to take on additional work as needed.

Responsibilities:

Perform internal reconciliations for all Human Resources accounts
Process entries in the Midas system for personnel-related expenses
Prepare payments for confidential invoices, such as legal, health and life insurance
Maintain daily attendance and mandatory 10 day leave vacation tracking for all staff
Assist with projects for Head Office, such as the annual Internal Control System
Research changing employment laws, such as sexual harassment training requirements
Update new hire and intern packages that provide staff with necessary employment forms
Assist with general Human Resources duties, including benefit enrollments and job description updates
Keeping track of daily attendance, maintain absence forms and collect training forms for staff
Clerical work, including entering payroll information on excel spreadsheet for processing, filing,
Other projects as requested.
