REMOTE/Help Desk Specialist - Oak Ridge, TN
SOC is seeking Help Desk Specialist to provide technical support to our nation's most complex modernization and readiness challenges.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Position will be remote/work from home/flexwork/telework for a period of time when starting, including training
Interview process: 1 round
Customer service and technical skills. Minimum of 6mo to 1 year of experience in a technical support role, providing support to end-users in relation to Windows, MS Office suite and other COTS applications. Experience troubleshooting functionality of networking (PNS, DHCP, TCP/ IP)
Training will be 8AM - 5PM ET Mon - Fri for ~2 weeks. Shifts will be Mon - Fri starting at or after 6AM ET and ending no later than 12AM ET. Outside of this, we can't promote a specific shift, technicians select shifts every 6-8 months based upon performance, and so a person may go up/down in their selection # based upon this.
EQUIPMENT: 2 laptops with 2 external monitors and a headset for making/receiving phone calls will be provided to perform work
Candidate must already hold the following certifications or be willing to obtain within 1 year of hire.
