Major, Lindsey & Africa's Interim Legal Talent group is seeking a Temporary-to-Permanent Healthcare Associate for a boutique firm based in Washington, DC. This is a remote position.
Conducting legal research
Drafting pleadings and other documents for hearings in court and before administrative tribunals
Advising clients as to matters arising under major federal fraud and abuse laws (e.g., Stark Law, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute)
Reviewing medical records, and evaluating transaction documents
1-3 years' experience in healthcare law
Active bar license in any jurisdiction
Demonstrated experience working with state and federal regulatory agencies
Previous clinical experience (i.e., work as a nurse or therapist) or experience in healthcare operations (especially in compliance) preferred
Stellar oral and written communication skills
