The Digital Salesforce Solutions Developer is responsible for the advisement and delivery of digital systems built on or interacting with Salesforce and Salesforce-hosted solutions as part of our vision to offer clients a seamless experience. Your knowledge and expertise in Salesforce will ensure governance and implementation approaches that support growth and scale in use by clients and associates and that will enable digital product roadmaps through the entire lifecycle including design, implementation, and ongoing support. You are a champion for Salesforce and partner capabilities, identify new and innovative approaches that can enable digital roadmaps using the platform, and are always looking out for opportunities to simplify platform implementation to make it easier to use for clients and associates.
Lead solution design of Salesforce-hosted platforms or solutions interacting with Salesforce and proactively identify design challenges and needs relating to implementation of Salesforce-based platform and interactions with enterprise applications, software, and other systems. Work with Digital Product Managers, Technology, Program Management, and other team members to determine new features and user stories needed in large/complex development projects built on Salesforce-hosted platforms or interacting with Salesforce. Support the creation, documentation, and prioritization of user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements to clearly articulate the "why" (not just the "how") that will enable seamless, highly-performant digital products. Serve as Salesforce technical lead for an Agile team and actively participate in all team sessions including planning, grooming, product demonstration, and team retrospectives. Create visuals and other documentation that transform a business case into easy-to-understand workflows and diagrams that clearly communicate how the solution works, impact to existing processes, and how our associates and clients will be affected by new experiences. Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, IT, Application Engineering and Enterprise Security to design and implement Salesforce-based solutions that are scalable and performant, use enterprise system/data integrations and extracts, are designed to be high availability with robust disaster recovery and backup architecture, and incorporate software development lifecycle and deployment methodologies. Identify stakeholders for engagement (including Marketing, Technology, Operations, Commercial, and Consumer teams) and work with Digital Product Managers to communicate planned enhancements and changes, support needed and timing, and training and knowledge transfer of implemented solutions and changes to existing solutions for ongoing support by Digital Product Analysts. Lead engagement for Salesforce-based initiatives with teams responsible for information security, risk, and technology to ensure data integrity and address all regulatory and audit requirements.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job:
Minimum 7 years designing and implementing Salesforce-enabled solutions and/or related work experience with CRM platforms in banking and financial services. 5+ years of demonstrated leadership of coaching, management and/or mentoring in a project management or sales environment. 5+ years as a project manager building exceptional digital experiences in Financial Services, Retail, or Travel using Agile Methodology. Experience designing, managing, and implementing secure Enterprise-wide solutions. Moderate experience with data transformation to meet business needs. Ability to present highly technical solutions to all levels of management to illustrate how those solutions align with the organization's vision and goals. Extensive CRM experience. Moderate experience with utilizing a marketing database; understanding of relevant IT systems and processes associated with a customer database. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once with a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment. Strategic thinker that's diligent, flexible, and resourceful with strong self-starter mentality who possesses a strong work ethic. Must have strong working knowledge of the financial services industry. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Associate's or Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent banking work experience preferred 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
