Job Description
RSM is looking for a Senior Accountant for our Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) practice within our Private Client Services (PCS) practice, a high-growth segment of our tax practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a regional public accounting firm in a hybrid audit-tax-bookkeeping role, or in-house corporate accounting experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing shared services practice focused on serving complex clients with foreign direct investments (FDI).
Responsibilities:
Prepare/review financial statements, tax returns, budgets/forecasts
Support multiple engagements in a shared services model, which may include co-sourcing and outsourcing accounting & finance engagements
Support in onboarding new clients
Understanding tax regulations and accounting pronouncements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
Must be eligible to sit for the Enrolled Agent or CPA exam - or a licensed JD
2 -3 years of public accounting or a corporate accounting experience, including financial statement preparation, general ledger work, adjusting journal entries, payroll reports and/or tax return preparation
Strong accounting technology skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively on a team
Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
International accounting experience a plus
Prior experience with QuickBooks Online, and/or Expensify required
