Job Description

Metabolic Research Institute, Inc. (“MRI”) is a leading biotechnology company specializing in metabolic disorders and personalized medicine. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote File/Document Clerk in Pennsylvania. This is a remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home.

As a Remote File/Document Clerk at MRI, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and efficient organization and management of company files and documents. This will include sorting, labeling, and filing physical documents, as well as organizing and maintaining electronic records. You will collaborate with various departments to retrieve and distribute documents as needed, and ensure that all files are appropriately stored and secured.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and documents
  • Sort, label, and file documents in accordance with established protocols
  • Retrieve and distribute files and documents to appropriate departments or individuals as requested
  • Ensure files and documents are stored and secured appropriately
  • Assist in transitioning to electronic document management systems
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency in document management
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Prior experience as a file clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using computers and basic software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment
