The Director - Experience Design is responsible for the design and development of engaging user experiences for clients, candidates, and internal talent acquisition teams. The Director - Experience Design is part of the Global XMO, consisting of other experience design resources, as well as project management, technology and change management resources. The Director - Experience Design provides both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The Director - Experience Design has extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment, as well as experience running a delivery team, preferably talent acquisition. In addition, strong attention to detail, building the interactive model, as well as tools and training to bring the full experience to life are responsibilities of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of experience designers
  • Document existing experience for leadership, hiring managers, client recruiters and candidates.
  • Conduct sessions with key stakeholders to understand need and to enable change management and elevate customer experience
  • Fully understanding the Cielo operating model and how to utilize it in a new partnership while still meeting the established needs
  • Act as a consultant throughout the Implementation process, leading "current state and future state" assessment workshops around experience and change
  • Create and execute change plan alongside client and Cielo Client Services leadership, including (but not limited to) voice of customer sessions, governance groups, and risk analysis
  • Ensure smooth transition between Cielo departments
  • Spearhead new partnership launches with other department team members, Cielo Client Services, and the newly established clients
  • Research and apply best practices, both internally and externally.
  • Create a roadmap from current state to desired future state, including priority, sequence and change management dependencies.



  • 7+ years' experience design with a specific focus on the client delivery experience, preferably in a related field.
  • Strong process engineering knowledge and design experience.
  • Proven leadership experience


  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.
  • Proven experience creating and implementing foundational tools, process, and framework across an internal organization.
  • Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • Six Sigma Black Belt, LEAN or other formal certifications, preferred
