Job Description

Remote to start.The expectation for CWs to be able to work onsite, especially with the lab utilization as soon as restrictions are lifted.We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer who can work effectively and independently in a remote environment. You will be working on HW validation tools. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a demanding team environment looking for a developer supporting a validation team.Qualifications: BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant engineering discipline 5 years of experience in software development working directly with hardware (e.g. HW validation, embedded 5 years of experience in functional and object-oriented programming, knowledgeable in advanced techniques in C++ (design patterns, boost, STL) 5 years of experience with Python (inc. pdb, unittest) 5 years of experience with Linux development: gcc, packaging, building (inc. makefiles), libraries, porting, source control with git Familiarity with tools like GDB and debugging concepts, ability to root cause issues.We are looking for a developer not necessarily a validator.Linux driver/module, PCIE driverLinux kernel programming.C programmingC++ programming.Object oriented (IPC) programming.Knowledge of Memory management. Linux Slab/slug. TLB (Translation Lookaside buffer)/Paging etcVirtualization ( SRIOV, SIOV) etc.Validation Blackbox/Regression etc.Embedded Systems Firmware work with SPI/I2C/GPIO/Serial/PWM/RTOS
