Remote Domestic Account Specialist Job Summary:

A fast-growing data center support solution company with a global headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Domestic Account Specialist to join their Supply Chain department. This multi-faceted team member will assist with a variety of parts and service-related responsibilities as well as support multiple interfacing departments through various customer service-based methods. Remote Domestic Account Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Run all domestic parts-only tickets
  • Facilitate all required communication with customers
  • Orchestrate shipments of parts
  • Generate PO's for bulk parts through multiple platforms
  • Generate reporting for customers as requested
  • Take part in monthly customer call by partnering with Account Executives
  • Provide on-call relief to the Purchasing team as needed
  • Provide full communication to the customer throughout the process including ticket acknowledgement, ticket acceptance tracking numbers, eta estimates, delivery confirmation and completion updates
  • Responsible for orchestrating same-day emergency parts movements and escalation through sourcing and shipping parts

Schedule: 5:00pm to 2:00am EST, Monday through Friday (Will require rotating weekends). Weekend schedule is available.

Remote Domestic Account Specialist Qualifications:

  • Possess at least 2-3 years of account management or customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a highly customer-centric approach.
  • Strong technical skills
  • Analytical, proactive and critical thinking skills are a must.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and able to multitask confidently in various platforms.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude; be self-motivated and able to work as part of a well-connected team
