Job Description

What do you get to do in this position?Solve problems and develop solutions within a complex software system that interacts with power systems and connected devicesParticipate in architecture design including high level discussions, technology selection, API design, and code level optimizationsDesign, implement and improve product and system code from the web front end down to the low-level processes connecting to devicesWork with a tight knit team of developers, testers and power domain expertsContribute to a teams migration to continuous deliveryWork with development teams around the world including in India, France and CanadaBe a key part of an agile team from planning through execution to reportingBe a flexible team member, willing to work on what the agile team needs to achieve its collective goals. Minimum RequirementsStrong working experience with Azure DevOps4+ years experience with .Net or .Net Core and C#Experience with most recent versions of AngularYou are ok with "going where the work is," including role flexibility within a team shifting closer to DevOpsYou are comfortable jumping in and quickly getting your hands dirty in new and unfamiliar codeYou have critical and lateral thinking abilityYou are adept at brainstorming and researchYou can break down complex development problems and can explain them to othersYou have proven experience working with developers, product owners, and application engineers in an agile frameworkExperience doing some test automationYou understand the importance of source control and know how, why and when to use itYou have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Computer Science (experience may preclude the need for a degree)
