Job Description

SHIFT:Monday- Friday 9:00am - 5:30pmThis is a remote opportunity that will initially require brief training in our facility in Whitestone, NY. Job Family SummaryWhat Customer Order Management contributes to Cardinal HealthCustomer Order Management is responsible for expediting orders by acting as a liaison in problem solving, research and problem/dispute resolutionWhat is expected of you for success in your roleDemonstrates working knowledge of product/service features and how products are used in customers' businessesDemonstrates working knowledge of business practices and proceduresEvaluates customer requests and ensures proper action is taken with minimal supervisionProvides appropriate level of customer support on moderately complex customer issuesCoordinates problem resolutionDocuments product/service issues and resolution techniques for the benefit of the teamProvides comprehensive level of customer support in explaining products/services for alternatives and customer solutionsResolves routine problems/issuesWhat is expected of you and others at this level in functional success Works to understand complex functional situations by paying attention to the details of the tasks at hand and by breaking them down into smaller piecesEnsures that customers have a positive experience; commits to meet or exceed customer expectationsDemonstrates deep customer expertise; collaborates with appropriate parties to identify the drivers leading to business successIdentifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions, services and productsMeasures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takesAccountabilities in this rolePlacing orders via phone/email/faxRunning customer reportsWorking closely with the Distribution Center and Kinray Sale RepresentativesAnswer incoming phone calls from customersProcess customer order(s), ask appropriate information for billing purposes and follow up as necessaryRespond to customer questions and problemsContact customers to inform them of additional information or payment neededQualificationsA Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position.This includes either:- 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine- 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccineHigh school diploma/GED preferred, not requiredPrior computer experience using Microsoft Office systems preferredAS400 system knowledge preferredCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
