Job Description


We are looking for a full-time Remote Customer Support Specialist who doesn't require a script to help our customers send and receive payments. Someone who can delight with promptness, thoroughness, accuracy, and maybe an occasional pun or two


  • Provide world-class customer service
  • Try all avenues to solve a customer's issue, but if you can't, explain the why with an empathetic ear
  • Educate our customers on how to use Venmo to send and receive payments
  • Proactively look for ways to improve internal processes
  • Research customer inquiries using the appropriate technology
  • Use problem-solving, analytics, and intuitive skills to follow logic and offer good solutions
  • Field inbound support calls, live chats, and emails from users about our product offerings


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in a role that put you in direct contact with consumers via telephone, email, and/or face-to-face. Financial services and/or call center experience is a big plus.
  • Team player - we win as a team
  • Enjoys being on the phone interacting with customers
  • Someone who enjoys a fast-paced yet fun working environment
  • Must be a self-starter and self-learner
  • An excellent communicator
  • Someone who is routinely the Tech Support hotline for their family and friends
  • Willingness to work hard and have fun doing it!
