What Customer Operations Support>contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for providing outsourced services to customers relating to medical billing, medical reimbursement, and/or other services by acting as a liaison in problem-solving, research and problem/dispute resolution.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred
  • 1-4 years experience preferred
  • Prior computer experience using Microsoft Office systems required
  • Must have excellent phone etiquette skills/verbal communication skills
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a group
  • Ability to work in a face pace/high production base role
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • RGH application experience/knowledge a plus
  • Wound care, ostomy, and urology product knowledge a plus

HHA (Home Health Agency) Team is a specialty team that works directly with the Home Health Agencies for their orders. The HHA Team consist of Insurance Verification, Medical Documentation, Customer Service and Prior Auth. This role is responsible for customer service related functions and staying in constant communication with the HHA regarding their orders.

Accountabilities:
  • Customer Ops responsibilities includes, but not limited to collect DED/co-pays/co-insur from customer via outbound phone call, add money letter, review order for non-cover/excluded items to be removed, process cancellations, outbound phone calls to HHA regarding changes and/or delays to the order
  • Day to day work involve repetitive tasks stated above and outbound phone calls to the HHA and/or customer - 50%-75% of the day involves outbound phone calls
  • Nurse orders are all urgent and expected to be work with urgency
  • Expected to achieve daily individual productivity goal, monthly individual quality goal and team cycle time goal
  • Teamwork needed to achieve Team weekly and monthly goals

  • Rating of "Meets Expectations" or higher during last performance review
  • Have been in their current position for at least a year
  • Informed their current supervisor/manager prior to applying
  • No written disciplinary action in the last year
