Remote Communications & Marketing Volunteer
Description: The Tandana Foundation is looking for someone who has interest and experience with communications and marketing to volunteer remotely for 10-25 hours a month. The following are helpful but not required: a knack for storytelling; professional work or academic coursework in marketing and communications, experience managing marketing and communications efforts for an organization, including lead generation, and a connection to colleges and universities or study abroad programs.
Tasks may include: - Developing and maintaining contact lists to reach potential volunteer groups, with a focus on schools and universities.
- Thinking creatively on how to generate excitement and enthusiasm about all things related to Tandana.
- Responding to inquiries from outreach emails and directing questions to the right Tandana staff members.
- Supporting fundraising campaigns such as and promoting other kinds of events.
- Writing posts for The Tandana Foundation Blog.
- Helping organize or attending Tandana events remotely an/or in-person if needed and as is feasible.
