Job Description


Essential Duties:

Review credit presentations for approved loan terms.

Prepare, review, and assemble new, renewed, and modified loan documents for commercial, AG, and SBA loan products, including secured and unsecured loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, construction loans, participations, discretionary lines, etc., in accordance with approved terms, bank policy, lending practices, and regulatory statues.

Review collateral related reports, including title commitments, O&E Reports, collateral valuations, UCC searches, and flood determinations from various sources to ensure compliance with bank policy and lending practices for documentation purposes.

Review borrower's organizational documents, Certificates of Good Standing, borrowing resolutions and other documents needed to verify corporate standing, proper borrowing authorization, and authorized signer/signatory. Includes review of trust documents if a trust is party to the transaction.

Accept and implement changes with processes, people, and circumstances exhibiting a positive approach to each situation.

Provide quality customer service to internal and external clients, including timely response to email and phone inquiries, researching discrepancies, and resolving issues.

Assume positive intent and apply a solution driven approach in all communication and collaboration efforts.

Complete annual compliance training as assigned.

Completes tasks under supervision of higher-level Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist and/or a manager.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma and 3-5 years of Commercial loan administration and documentation or related experience, with 1-2 years of SBA and Ag documentation experience preferred. High attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, problem solving, and excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while delivering quality results.
