REMOTE Record Retrieval Specialists Position Summary
Helpmates is supporting our client with their need to identify 10 Call Center Customer Service for the Record Retrieval Specialists Department. The Record Retrieval Specialists will make calls to physician's offices and hospitals to request medical records. All communication with facilities is documented both by paper and within our in-house computer system. The Record Retrieval Specialists will naturally have an outgoing and positive personality, be flexible when change happens, problem resolution orients and likes working remote

REMOTE Record Retrieval Specialists Job Description:

Record Retrieval Services Representative / Customer Service

The Record Retrieval Services will make outbound calls to provider offices to inform them they have been selected for an audit, provide the office with the required medical record documents needed for the audit.

The Record Retrieval Services Representative will have excellent customer service and be able to communicate professionally with the provider's office representatives.

Will perform follow up calls to ensure they have the required information and follow up on status of request.

This is a fast-paced environment high volume remote work environment. Must thrive with resolving and completing tasks. Task oriented, organized and time efficiency is key for success in the role

Will learn and increase knowledge in the medical records, HIPAA, and medical audit process.

REMOTE Record Retrieval Specialists Requirements / Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Secondary school:\ preferred certification from a course in: Healthcare
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to work well at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Type 40 WPM
