The Sr. Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for cultivating new and direct merchant eCommerce relationships with domestic and international acquirers. Additionally, the role will encompass an ongoing account management function due to our company philosophy of building long-standing relationships with our clients. The BDE will be responsible for independently mining for opportunities and establishing merchant account and gateway relationships.

What else you will be doing:

  • Formulating and executing on successful business plans to meet and exceed the objectives set by the Executive Team.
  • Prospecting new merchant business and acquiring direct processing and gateway relationships.
  • Coordinating opportunities with members of the Executive Team for joint calling to facilitate prospecting and closing of new business.
  • Coordinating client site visits with the Executive Team to support business retention.
  • Attend tradeshows both in-person and virtually to provide targeted marketing opportunities.
  • Producing weekly reports benchmarking progress on sales pipeline and closed deals
  • Independently mine/prospect for new opportunities
  • Identify new lead generation opportunities and strategies

What we need from you:

  • 3 years minimum B2B sales and related eCommerce payment experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in overachieving sales quota
  • Ability to deploy sales methods that effectively produce top line revenue growth
  • Demonstrated success at building and maintaining appropriate pipeline level
  • Experience with financial technology, electronic payments or business management solutions (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office (preferred)
  • Experience identifying and employing new lead generation strategies
