The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for executing sales strategies to target Health Systems and large Ambulatory groups to achieve revenue quotas. This involves prospecting, conducting discovery calls, developing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to close profitable contracts.
Role Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager at Janus, you will work with the Janus Growth Executives to build and execute the overall sales approach to Health System and large Ambulatory targets to achieve overall quota attainment for our sales organization and drive revenue for our business. You will be responsible for working with the VP of Sales for each territory to assist in executing the sales strategy for their respective territory. This includes identification and education of prospects, conveying Janus' value proposition, and working with other members of the Janus Growth team, as well as members of other functions throughout the organization to close contracts that meet the profitability goals of the Janus organization. Detailed responsibilities include:
- Prospect for potential new Health System and large Ambulatory customers.
- Conduct prospect discovery calls leveraging Janus' consultative selling approach.
- Research and understand each prospect environment and strategic initiatives, in conjunction with the territory VP of Sales, to best align Janus' solutions.
- Assist in territory campaign follow up to generate new leads.
- Participating in virtual meetings with the territory VP of Sales, and when appropriate, for early-stage opportunities, conduct meetings independently.
- Attend industry events and network with potential customers, including scheduling of meetings.
- Partner with sales operations to quickly respond to customer needs.
- Develop proposals, contracts, and other sales-related materials, as necessary.
- Work with sales enablement to develop Return on Investment models for presentation to prospects.
- Potentially demonstrate solutions, when appropriate.
- Partner with Marketing and Product to relay market feedback relative to our capabilities and messaging.
- Partner with the VP of Sales, CGO and CFO to develop and deliver pricing that reflects Janus approved pricing models.
- Document all selling activities in Salesforce.
Requirements
- We are seeking consultative selling experience with at least 3+ years of sales experience.
- Required experience in RCM technology, enterprise healthcare technology solutions, SaaS, or Healthcare Consulting.
- Experience working with complex Health Systems and Ambulatory groups.
- Data-driven, problem solver, excellent prioritization, logical deduction, and organizational skills.
- Work collaboratively with Growth, Marketing, Product and Customer teams.
- Ability to innovate in a fast-growing work environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- Highly motivated self-starter who is an excellent team player.
- Outstanding organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills; demonstrated experience in communicating value to customers.
