About the Role:

Join a global leader in hygienic solutions who specialise in premium quality Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul components. Our client is widely regarded as the go-to premium provider of hygienic flow control solutions serving multiple sectors including food & beverage, sanitary products and pharmaceuticals. 

The Regional Sales Manager vacancy is perfect for a motivated sales professional who loves to work with precision-engineered industrial products. If you love working autonomously, building long-term customer relationships and being rewarded for your hard work, this is an ideal opportunity. 

This is a consultative field-based sales role working closely with the European Sales team.

About the Role: 

  • Field based role with autonomy and responsibility for driving regional growth.
  • Proactively identify and acquire new customers through outbound prospecting and cold acquisition
  • Attend industry trade shows, set appointments with prospects and follow up with new contacts and prospective customers
  • Regularly visit prospective and existing customers to build relationships and uncover new opportunities
  • Manage a small number of key accounts, ensuring continued satisfaction and account growth
  • Engage in value based, solution-driven sales with precision engineering and process manufacturing environments
  • Around 80% travel across Germany

About You: 

The ideal candidate will be a driven sales professional with a background in technical or mechanical engineering.

  • You have at least 4 years of technical sales experience, ideally within process engineering or fluid/flow control environments
  • You have a degree or formal training in Process or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field). Hands on experience within pumps, valves, seals, rotating equipment etc is a great advantage. 
  • You have a strong technical understanding of engineered products and manufacturing processes
  • You are a self-starter who thrives in a technical, field based sales environment
