Job Description

Making a Difference, Living a Better Life

Do you thrive in a high trust, fast-paced environment and love working with ambitious SMEs, believe people are at the heart of business success and have a passion for sales and marketing?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a positive, high-energy, influential individual with a passion for helping SME businesses thrive whilst creating truly flexible working opportunities for brilliant HR Directors. Ideally you will have an existing business network across the Midlands (East and West including, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Worcester, Milton Keynes, Grantham, Lincoln, Rutland, Northampton, Wolverhampton, Dudley), to lead and further develop the already established Midlands region for the UK’s leading provider of part-time People Directors to growing SME businesses with £5m - £100m turnover.

You will flourish in a high trust, genuinely supportive and very flexible working environment; this is a full-time role but you decide how you will manage your hours and make this role a success. Perhaps you have family commitments that you wish to wrap-around your work life, if so, then this could the home for you. Remote/field-based, with the exception of monthly meetings, you will operate from your home but will happily organise yourself to have in-person prospect meetings throughout the week in the areas listed above (so you will need to live locally to these areas to be considered.)

Who you are

First and foremost you are motivated by our purpose to help businesses to thrive by being energetic and proactive about achieving this goal. You love meeting people in-person but you are also happy to chat on the phone/on video calls. You are equally at ease with a day in the office sending prospecting emails or updating Social Media. You have oodles of energy and you are proud of your resilient proactive nature. You are a natural influencer and leader.

You are able to quickly empathise with the people you meet and therefore feel you can relate to and understand the needs of an SME business owner, and ultimately feel what it is like to be in their shoes. You passionately feel that you want to connect clients to your team of brilliant People Directors to change their lives and lives of your team. You will relish the autonomy of growing a high-performing region, whilst loving being part of wider UK team.

You are a consultative, sales-focused, over-achiever who comes with a strong understanding of business strategy and people needs and you are able to work with your team of HR Directors to propose appropriate, commercial solutions. Part advisor/part strategist, part friend, you have a natural and genuine ability to forge long-lasting relationships.

"The role enables the meeting of so many varied and inspired SME leaders and entrepreneurs, passionate about their business and their USP. Each meeting I'm always amazed at who I'm going to meet and have the chance to hear and understand their story". Jim Lister, Regional Director for Yorkshire/North East.

You totally understand the power of social media and use it, professionally, to your advantage. LinkedIn is your best friend. Perhaps you came through the ranks via marketing, and you can see the big picture in terms of generating leads and converting them to wins. You know that everything you do can be amplified via social media. You feel at home allowing your creative juices to flow by writing social content and blogs.

Simply, you aspire to the "happy team/happy clients" ethos.

You know there is a place out there in the big wide world where you fit, but maybe you just haven't found it yet? We might just be that place and, if so, we cannot wait to welcome you to our work family. Perhaps we are the missing (People) Puzzle....gettit?!
