**Pay Rate: $35
**Strong preference for local to ATL - working remote now but will transition to hybrid model - 1-2 days in office, 3 days remote
**6 month contract; possibility of ext. based on performance

This position is responsible for supporting the overall sourcing team and will require the candidate to assist senior managers / directors with strategy development, sourcing expertise, category management and governance of complex vendors. This resource will provide critical services to the overall procurement team and as such will require attention to detail, data manipulation capabilities, & exceptional presentation skills. The Sourcing Manager will work closely with Business Relationship Managers, Directors, and project stakeholders through end to end sourcing process.
Category Strategy
• Support senior team members in conducting strategic assessment and developing solution design for new sourcing initiatives or restructure the solution for existing initiatives
• Develop strong financial business case for various strategic opportunities
• Contribute in the development of innovative solutions and validate internal hypothesis with suppliers
• Have exposure to complex supplier negotiations and assist the senior project leader in execution of supplier negotiations
• Analyze large quantities of data to identify and develop strategic sourcing initiatives that fits the overall procurement scope
• Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers (BRM) of business / functional areas to ensure BRMs maximize customer relationship opportunities to increase Managed Spend.

Supplier Governance
• Work with senior members to lead, implement, and continuously improve supplier governance details including: Contract, Financial, Performance, and Relationship Management
• Develop a deep expertise of client and services that are being outsourced to the supplier and develop effective solutions to operational and contractual problems
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Legal, IT, Risk and Compliance to develop effective negotiating strategies for supplier contracts
• Ensure governance and value tracking processes for assigned suppliers are effective and in compliance with client's policies and in alignment with established category strategies
• Manage supplier performance, outsourcing portfolio and opportunity catalog across a potentially vast array of supplier services and outsourced functions
• In collaboration with other team members, support all activities associated with RFP creation, supplier selection processes, and the execution and review of supplier contracts
• Ensure governance and value tracking processes for assigned suppliers are effective and in compliance with client's policies
• Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of client and the supplier
• Orchestrate and facilitate governance meeting between senior leadership from client and service provider leadership. Develop and manage the Agenda for these discussions such that it creates meaningful and valuable engagement on both sides
• Organize and lead periodic business review meetings between client and suppliers' executive team to evaluate supplier performance and risk
• Maintain current industry regulation knowledge, with respect to category strategies and supplier management
• Serve as supplier-specific subject matter expert pertaining to delivery of services and performance, financial and contract management throughout the life of the relationship
• Develop and manage issue and risk action and mitigation plans
• Contribute to continuous improvement in supplier governance
• Monitor category and supplier environment to keep current on provider and industry trends
• Perform supplier relationship management activities
• Identify new best practices in sourcing

Stakeholder/Relationship Management
• Partner with stakeholders to create and launch tactical implementation plans
• Interact with internal and external customers
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal clients and colleagues
• Serve as member of cross-functional teams; lead meetings as appropriate and influence business and corporate functions
Education
• Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Professional Experience:
• 1-3 years relevant experience in (a) sourcing / procurement/ vendor management at large multinational companies or (b) shared services and outsourcing advisory or operational consulting
• Financial acumen with 3 or more years of experience in roles involving creating complex business case for outsourcing services (client or provider)
• Hands-on experience in negotiating complex contracts

Knowledge and Skills
• Proven track record in benchmarking, market analyses and contract negotiations
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills in a team environment
• Experience working with cross functional global teams
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication and influencing skills especially with senior level executives
• Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment and highly matrixed environment
• Strong financial acumen; ability to understand outsourcing impact to P&L, ability to develop complex business cases & continually assess/determine total cost of ownership at both a functional level and supplier level
• Strong Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills
• Strong executive presence to work with senior leaders within client organization
• Evidence of successful management of large programs and projects
