Python Developer with good Ruby on Rails Work Location Denver, CO 80202( for Now its remote must be open to go to work site when time comes)( can give Non-locals) Type of role Contract(c2c can be taken ) Duration 6 months + Skills Python ROR coding exp Microservices API Integration AWS Java Devops Jenkins Terraform CICD Trouble shooting exp SQL Banking Must JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced software engineer to design and implement technology solutions leveraging cloud capabilities in a team-oriented, product-focused, agile environment. As a member of a cross-functional, autonomous team, you will help deliver some of the bank's most important products and services while developing skills and experience well beyond your initial role. An engineer in this role will contribute to a learning culture where knowledge, ideas and opinions are shared openly. This is primarily a software development position. We are looking for a Solid Python Developer with good Ruby on Rails experience developing APIsApplications to run natively within AWS. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Implement cloud-native software solutions on the AWS platform. Build and share technical expertise with agile team members and other members of the organization. Participate in technology communities of practice to define and continuously refine standards and best practices. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and creating maintainable, supportable, and testable solutions. Keep up with technology trends and innovations in your field(s) of practice Provide operational support and troubleshooting for your teamrsquos products and services Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements Provide coaching, mentoring, and training for new or less experienced team members Provide leadership and guidance to your team in your technical field(s) of expertise Other duties as assigned MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Bachelorrsquos degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience 3+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position Solid understanding and significant experience with modern software development practices, tools, and hardware technologies Solid understanding of Internet application security best practices Expertise in one or more technical andor functional domains relevant to the position Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions 1+ year of AWS software development experience Knowledge and experience developing server-side Python based Microservices Knowledge and experience developing server-side Ruby on Rails services Knowledge and experience working with SQL databases Willingness to learn new skills and programming languages Experience with GitGitHub, and popular CICD tools like Jenkins, Sonar Experience with Java, Spring, SpringBoot would be a great plus Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, andor Kafka is desirable Strong problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment
