Python Automation Engineer

A technology driven financial firm is seeking a passionate automation engineer to join their team in Texas or NY. As a Python Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for collaborating with a variety of teams to design and build automated tools to ultimately increase the firms global systems and workflows. As the Python Automation Engineer you'll be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and maintaining automated tools for trading operations
• Collaborating with teams across the business to identify areas that could be improved and provide solutions
• Being a product owner of developed tools that are pushed out to production

You'll have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Strong professional experience building automated tools using Python, experience with Python Libraries (NumPy, Pandas, etc.) is a plus
• Strong professional experience with SQL or other relational databases
• Strong analytical mindset
