About the role:

We are looking for a Proposal Writer with a passion for helping others and who is eager to take on a variety of projects in a dynamic environment. Proven project management, communication skills, and technical aptitude are required.

 This position is fully remote and can be based in any of the following : UK, France, Germany, Netherlands or Poland.

In this role, you will:

  • Respond to customer Requests for Quotations (RFQ), Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) for entities across various geographies, with a focus on the UK and EMEA regions, including localization of proposal resources. 
  • Study and understand prospects’ needs and develop proposal schedules and templates specific to each market.
  • Ensure compliance with prospects’ requirements.
  • Effectively handle multiple proposals in a high-performance and fast-paced environment.
  • Work with Samsara subject matter experts and account executives to tailor responses to each prospect.
  • Use and maintain the RFP knowledge base and ensure content is continuously updated.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the entire RFP process for private evaluators.
  • Debrief with sales teams and use feedback to provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • On a case-by-case basis, collaborate with other functional teams on side projects.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • English & French fluency (mandatory requirement).
  • A Bachelor’s degree (Technical Writing, Business Strategy, English, Communications, Marketing, or related disciplines) or equivalent work experience. 
  • 1-3 years of project management experience. 
  • Strong cross-collaboration skills.
  • High-level writing skills to author and edit technical content.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience with AI tools.
  • Fluency in other languages (German and Spanish).
