Property Tax Accountant

Dealership: L0105 Lithia Home Office Tax Accountant, Property Tax Location: Remote Compensation: $40,000- $60,000 Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Tax Accountant, Property Tax to support our property tax compliance and payment processes. This role involves analyzing and processing tax bills for real estate and personal property while handling administrative duties for the property tax team. No prior property tax experience is required, but a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. Key Responsibilities Manage administrative functions related to property tax compliance and payment processes. Process and analyze real estate and personal property tax bills to ensure accuracy and timely payments. Collaborate with Senior Tax Accountants to support day-to-day operations. Participate in cross-functional teams and assist with special projects. Work with government officials, outside counsel, and business partners on tax-related matters. Support tax planning, accounting, compliance, research, and audit defense efforts. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Accounting required. 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience with general ledger software preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
