How you ll make a difference:
As the Promo Product SEO Manager, you ll assist in driving the constant innovation and performance of Custom Ink s organic presence across all search engines by focusing on the right data and tactics to secure rankings for existing terms as well as expand keyword coverage of our Promotional Product offering. You ll help to influence the direction of our marketing team and the business at large by diving in with excitement, curiosity, and technical expertise to execute, tinker, and fix where needed. As a technical expert in search engine optimization, you ll get to research, innovate, suggest, test, and utilize the latest and greatest approaches using many tools in the space. By partnering across the business you ll have the opportunity to amplify successes and results for all involved.
What you ll do:
As a contributor of Custom Ink s organic presence on all search engines, the Promo Product SEO Manager owns the efforts that secure rankings for promotional products as well as driving innovative tactics that translate into expanded keyword performance and ultimately increases in related product revenue.
In this role, you ll focus on:
Auditing and implementing site structure optimizations, SEO based site testing and ensuring a high performance of promo product conversions
Increasing and maximizing product rankings through robust competitor analysis and identifying optimal SEO strategies
Elevating content strategies that expand promo related search traffic in this high growth, competitive market
Evangelization of the impact of SEO on the business through showcasing the subject matter and collaborating with Merchandise teams as new products are introduced
Optimizing content, site structure, link architecture, and our growing brick & mortar footprint to improve 1st page ranking
Increasing and constantly iterating the communication streams and alignment cross functionally that ensure SEO efforts are understood, well-supported, and successful at the enterprise level
Contributing thought partnership, positive influence, and subject matter expertise to the Marketing leadership team as well as peer groups across the organization

Increased 1st page rankings
Site speed & crawlability
Stakeholder confidence (via survey) in SEO Roadmap
Team engagement and performance (including outside partners)

Strong track record 5 + years of Natural Search success; through rank increases, KW expansion and click share, algo update recovery and/or content creation successes for SEO
Demonstration of high agility between simultaneous projects and ability to prioritize between constantly improved opportunities
Strong collaborative skill set working with creative teams, sales departments, technical engineering teams, and merchandise teams
History of creating proven Content Optimization Success through SEO improvements
Possess a portfolio of innovative strategies that lead to natural search benefits through content additions, updates or PR-related initiatives
Pluses: Experience with SEO for ecommerce or promotional products,SEO testing, SEO tool uses
8-10 years of success in Marketing with strong track record and technical knowledge of SEO latest practices
Demonstrated success within similar B2C and/or omnichannel businesses (including Ecommerce)
Obvious and insatiable curiosity and learning agility
Proven agility to move between simultaneous projects, challenges, and priorities
Experience collaborating across teams, functions, and initiatives
A strong drive to identify and act on improvement opportunities
A head for business and a heart for people
