Project Manager IT Infrastructure / Operations

Fully remote

Well established, rapidly growing, financial technology company bringing efficiency, connectivity, and access to credit trading through innovative technology and product design is seeking a Project Manager IT Infrastructure / Operations. The firm's product ecosystem leverages data and the power of the network effect to create transparency, liquidity, and efficient trade execution.

About the Role

Position is to join the Tech Ops team to focus on project management and tracking. This person will be responsible for creating, planning, and executing technical projects and policies. In addition to strong time management skills, this candidate should be involved in projects and initiatives across technology and also be aware of regulatory changes and their impact on IT. Additionally, this candidate should have prior experience with financial regulatory IT requirements, NIST framework and working with external vendors and clients on various security and technical questionnaires.

What You'll Do

Project Management:

  • Develop, manage and execute project plans to deliver on tech ops related projects and releases; work closely with other project managers (development and product) on overlapping and related deliverables
  • Evaluate, update, and create technology internal controls and related documents relating to technology and is usage across the firm

IT Compliance:

  • Stay knowledgeable of relevant regulations, guidelines & industry standards
  • Ensure that all necessary IT policies are updated and reflective of relevant regulatory agencies (FINRA, SEC, etc.)
  • Manage security changes, and handle NIST framework and ISO updates
  • Handle all technical and security questions received from clients and vendors including questionnaires
  • Write policies and procedures for tech relevant topics; make certain to update across all firm documentation (i.e., employee handbook, BCM procedures and other internal and external documents) and manage the roll-out of these new or updated policies
  • Perform data-driven reviews focused on technology, cyber security and business continuity management risks

Skills & Qualifications

  • BA in Computer Science or Information Systems or combination of education and related work experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in technology project management
  • 3+ years of work experience in IT compliance
  • Experience with frameworks like NIST CSF or PCI DSS
  • Experience writing policies and executing them smoothly
  • Ability to manage competing priorities that span across various functional and technical areas
  • Excellent organizational skills, while displaying proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present team milestone and objectives
