Job Description

The function of this role will be to work with technical project team members and the Project Management Organization (PMO) to plan, coordinate and monitor internal and external (client facing) project and program level initiatives. This position will also be directly responsible for the management of small (defined as 40-299 hours of project work) andor low complexity projects. A Project Coordinator in this role will work directly with a Project Manager, Program Manager, andor the PMO Practice Principal to manage resources and information and assist with scheduling, planning meetings and project activities at a project, program and portfolio level. This role is 100 remote. Role and Responsibilities Coordinate project management activities, resources and information across a portfolio of internal and external (client facing) projects Break projects into individual actions and set timeframes Liaise with clients to identify and define timeline, requirements, scope and objectives Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management Execute a project initiation checklist for each assigned project to ensure readiness prior to project execution Develop andor review project artifacts and documents for completeness and application to the project activities Develop project plans, staffing plans and required project artifacts for small andor low complexity projects Coordinate and facilitate change management, communication and deployment plans Coordinate and facilitate communications to the internal andor external (client facing) project team(s) and user community Perform various duties related to a readiness assessment for internal andor external (client facing) project activities which impact the user community Analyze and determine the status of the remaining project task readiness on an ongoing basis Coordinate with the other Alchemy Tech Group team members as to status and progress of project, program andor portfolio activities Provide status and burn down analytics at a project, program, andor portfolio level Provide performance status and analytics for team Provide tracking updates for action items and incidents for team review and assessment Participate in team meetings and discussions Maintain project artifacts and documentation Qualifications and Education Requirements Previous experience as Project Coordinator preferred Experience in IT andor Help Desk preferred Strong analytical skills Strong organizational skills Strong communications skills (verbal and written) Products Microsoft Office, MS Project, Excel
