Reference: 433361 We have a contract-to-hire opportunity in Columbus, Ohio for a Project Analyst (Open to remote) who will assist with the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. The role will collaborate with financial reporting and potentially IT teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs and improve internal and external reporting.Responsibilities: Goal is to provide financial insights that help the decision-making process, and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget Identify problems and opportunities, provide solutions that help achieve the business' goals Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business In addition to performing financial and operational modeling, also expected to develop new models that underpin sound business decisions Streamlining and improving of internal and external reporting Strong understanding of operational and reporting requirements as well as plenty of experienced in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis, combined with understanding of key performance indicators Should also drive fresh initiatives for financial planning and business intelligence systems Design and develop metrics, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions Examine reports to locate and resolve errors Assemble and analyze data for business reports, make sure data and calculations are accurate Pull data to develop recurring or one-time reports Build dashboards for business leaders to show results Skills Required: Expertise in SQL scripting, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), PowerBI, Tableau and other reporting tools Minimum bachelor's degree (Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Information Technology) Must have strong task prioritization skills in addition to good statistical and critical thinking skills Strong technology, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits Budgeting and forecasting Planning and monitoring Financial modeling Variance analysis Pricing Reporting Experience working with senior decision makers Strong communication/interpersonal skills Proven analytical background Advanced Excel skills Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive (curious) Ability to work independently and with others Extremely organized with strong time-management skills Top skills: analysis, teamwork, process improvement, big-picture thinking, work well under pressure, communication, problem solving, critical thinking, relationship building Client does not provide sponsorship for this opening.
