Responsible for aspects of developing, programming, integration, testing and implementation of applications to support Enterprise Point of Sale (POS), Kitchen Production System (KPS), Mobile Application and administrative web portals.
Responsible for the application system interfaces to various ancillary software, including the data integration and synchronization between systems.
Work closely with various technical and functional departments to Analyze and improve web application performance and response time.
Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team-centered environment
Contributes to the review and analysis of business requirements and development of code reviews and technical design/specifications.
Assists with the automation of common and/or troublesome tasks, including operational support tasks.
Follow best practices for secure web development.
Provide leadership to POS Team for complex support issues by participating in daily meetings and feedback.
Bachelor's in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with source control software (Git, Bitbucket)
Understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
Experience with a microservices architecture
Demonstrated ability to keep abreast of the most up-to-date technologies and implement when necessary
Proficiency with Visual Studio 2019 or newer
Full Stack development experience
Experience with setting up and communicating with serial/USB hardware
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
