Starbucks is seeking a program manager to join the application security team. Are you passionate about process optimization? Do you get a thrill from mitigating risk? Then we want to hear from you!

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the Starbucks bug bounty program.
  • Reduce risk by overseeing resolution of vulnerability findings from multiple sources.
  • Identify and report program metrics to articulate business impact for all application security programs.
  • Translate customer experience into technical requirements and product solutions.
  • Define acceptance criteria for new product features.
  • Develop frameworks to enhance process and drive improvement across the application security team.
  • Monitor feature performance to find opportunities to address continuous improvement.
  • Help resolve technical blocking issues and coordinates solutions across multiple technical teams.
  • Recommend and plan innovative products and features.
  • Evangelize application security fundamentals and advocate awareness with internal business teams.
  • Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program management experience
  • 5+ years of overall experience working in IT
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply process improvement principles.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
  • Strong written, verbal and active listening skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with bug bounty or VDP programs.
  • Experience working in information security.
