Responsibilities:

The role of the Product Training Manager is to optimize commercial effectiveness (CE) through both corporate office and field-based learning initiatives. The primary responsibilities of this role; include, but are not limited to, curriculum development, facilitate new hire training, group training programs, internal training support, and field-based training support. The training sessions are designed to enhance product knowledge skills and drive commercial results, while being consistently aligned to IsoPlexis’ brand and sales strategies. The training content is determined by Leadership, Marketing Team, Product Management, Sales Training Director, and other specialty sales leaders. The Product Training Manager is an important link in the continuous learning feedback loop that is designed for the on-going assessment and optimization in IsoPlexis marketing execution. The Product Training Manager will support the training and learning initiatives specific to the sales force and related teams.

  • Assist with the design, development, and implementation of new hire curriculum and learning resources such as Litmos; including, but not limited to, product information, market/competitor information, business analytics, and territory management.
  • Participate in the development of training initiatives with other personnel and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the science behind Isoplexis’ technology to help teach the commercial team how to best pitch IsoPlexis to our customers and explain our new and exciting products and publications that have been released.
  • Consult the commercial team on how to partner with customers from a scientific perspective to ensure they are optimally using our protocols and products.
  • Aid and facilitate training workshops to support learning needs and drive sales results.
  • Provide performance feedback using data analytics from Litmos, scoring, coaching on presentations, Case Studies, etc. with new hire sales & marketing professionals to optimize development and create seamless transitions from the training environment to work in the field.
  • Provide developmental coaching and feedback to employees in 1:1 coaching sessions, as well as in group training environments.
  • Use processes effectively to operationalize delivery and tracking of sales training via the learning management system.
  • Facilitate new hire training as well as large training events; including, but not limited to, new product launches, and field force expansions.
  • Conduct training via virtual and live training methods.
  • Maintain confidentiality and enforce training and IsoPlexis policies.
  • Comply with all IsoPlexis Operational Guidelines and Code of Conduct and ensure that all activities, observed or taught, are also in accordance with these guidelines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

Preferred Skills:

  • Product launch or expansion launch experience.
  • Experience leading advisory groups and mentoring.
  • Experience in project management, and the development and delivery of effective presentations.
  • Experience working with life science research tools/instrumentation

Required education:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced Degree in biological science or field related to the essential duties of the job.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of training or relative experience.
  • Possess a high level of clinical knowledge, market access intelligence, and the latest training trends to maximize learning effectiveness.
  • 2+ years of biological lab experience in a small lab is preferred, including experience with most basic laboratory techniques
  • Biomedical or biotechnology industry background is preferred
  • Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
