SCW.AI by Supply Chain Wizard is a fast-growing technology startup that achieved great product market fit with its Digital Factory platform, has stellar reference customers in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry; and we are looking to build our GMP Solutions Team after recently closing on a strong Series A fundraising with prestigious investors.

The Role  

As a key member of the team, the Product Owner is pivotal in continuously evaluating and enhancing the SCW product suite to reach its full potential.
You will work closely with stakeholders to define and prioritize the SCW product backlog, providing a comprehensive view of the product(s) and playing a crucial role in determining the product life cycle. This includes collaborating with the Product Development team and key stakeholders to develop the product roadmap, define features, and write and prioritize user stories. Additionally, you will support initiatives for growth and expansion of capabilities within the SCW.AI suite.

** Role is based in Turkey, preferred to be in Izmir but not mandatory. Candidates based outside of Izmir must be available for in-person meetings in Izmir as part of team collaboration.

As a member of the SCW.AI team, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and validation of GMP-compliant software solutions.
• Understand pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality processes to shape product implementation.
• Manage the product roadmap, translating client needs into development priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, testing, compliance, customer success) to ensure timely feature delivery.
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
• Support validation of the GMP- solutions and documentation that accompanies it
• Support post-go-live maintenance and ensure continued product quality.
• Continuously analyze product performance using data-driven insights, proactively recommending enhancements to improve adoption, efficiency, and compliance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to enhance the user experience and maximize product adoption.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related life sciences field.
• Experience:At least 4 years as a Product Owner in IT, preferably with experience in pharmaceutical computer systems management. Experience in project management is a big plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across teams, can represent to international customers
• Methodologies:Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies
• Leadership and Organization: Strong presentation, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences/Medical Devices, IT, Manufacturing, processes & systems is not a must but a big  plus.
• Analytical Skills: Knowledge of scheduling algorithms, BI tools, data analysis, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Computer System Validation (CSV).
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with frontend/backend development, DevOps, and database management
• Experience in people/team management and performance follow-ups
