As the global product marketing manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing the commercial product marketing strategies for the Velocity™ software product line. As part of the product marketing team, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of marketing activities and collaborate with sales and product management to ensure market success.

For U.S., may be remote based, but preferred location is Central or East Coast.

What you will do:
  • Represent the product line as a subject matter expert at trade shows, KOL visits, scientific meetings, and industry working groups.
  • Generate marketing materials and sales training content for use by downstream regional/geographic marketing teams worldwide.
  • Develop marketing plans and strategy to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and trends including competitor products.
  • Identify market needs and opportunities via customer research, competitive analyses, and industry expertise.
  • Develop and work with key clinical partners to increase representation at national and international conferences and presence in scientific publications.

What you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in the health care industry.
  • Competence in creation of impactful, evidence-based product value propositions and claims messaging
  • Downstream marketing management experience with product launch experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience building strong, lasting relationships throughout the organization
  • Demonstrated success driving cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule
  • Proficient in using business tools such as: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for product demonstration, customer training, and support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex technical problems competently with clinically oriented managers and customers
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% to U.S. and international destinations and flexibility to work extended schedules, including some weekends

What will set you apart:
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist, or Master's degree in medical physics.
  • Experience with Velocity™ and Eclipse™ software products
  • Medical device marketing experience
  • Knowledge of additional languages

Many Varian clients require Varian's employees to meet certain "Vendor Credentialing" requirements before these employees will be allowed to have access to client sites. Because you must have physical access to Varian's clients' facilities to perform this position, you must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of your Varian employment in this position, unless prohibited by law. Although the particular Vendor Credentialing requirements vary by client, generally, they include, but are not limited to, proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, Social Security Number), criminal background checks, drug screening, immunizations (Hepatitis B, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, COVID-19), annual Tuberculosis testing, and various healthcare trainings. Failure to meet these requirements may result in inability to perform your duties and thus termination of your Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company, employment.
