Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversight, enhancement and management of common eCommerce capabilities including:
    • Account & Credentialing
    • Checkout
    • Search
  • Collaborate with IT and vendor partners in an agile environment to ensure the right product capabilities are built
  • Ensure legal, quality and accessibility compliance
  • Incorporate user feedback and A/B testing into the product development life cycle to ensure products are meeting consumer needs
  • Collaborate with user experience (UX-UI) team members to ensure delivery of a premiere eCommerce consumer experience
  • Create, maintain and manage the product backlog
  • Write business requirements, epics and user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define scope and milestones
  • Groom and prioritize the backlog to achieve core business objectives and drive the greatest value
  • Align stakeholders on current backlog status and ensure the backlog is visible and clear to all
  • Partner with other product managers, executive leaders and designers to define product vision and strategy
  • Translate business strategies into product strategies, roadmaps, and product specifications to deliver against core value propositions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in digital product management within retail and/or health care
  • Experience managing digital product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Experience working with and managing vendor relationships to deliver capabilities
  • Experience using Agile software development methodology, processes and tools
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • DTC digital eCommerce experience
  • Must be able to translate and articulate complex business problems into easily understood solutions and requirements
  • Ability to think strategically to solve problems in alignment with business goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of user experience trends and digital consumer behaviors
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization, specifically with Design, Engineering, Operations and Marketing teams
  • Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must communicate effectively with all levels

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
