Responsibilities:
Role Overview:Continually analyze the market for advanced wastewater treatment systems and develop strategic plans to rapidly grow sales of existing product lines and develop and acquire new products to serve this specified/engineered market. Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by evaluating customer needs and competitive offerings. Current target market is the U.S. andCanada with annual potential market size of approximately $900 million.Responsibilities:With a team of company leaders, develop a strategic plan to innovate and grow the revenue of commercial and residential decentralized wastewater treatment systems by at least 50% per year through the fiscal year 2026.Plan and execute market research projects to establish the voice of the customer, segment the market, and target areas for innovation and growth to gain market share to become the industry leader in decentralized advanced wastewater treatment.Communicate the needs of specifying engineers and other customers with internal engineering/R team to develop innovative differentiated offerings.Work closely with the internal sales, marketing, technical services, engineering, and manufacturing to communicate the strategic plan.Evaluate new sales distribution channels including municipal distributors who focus on wastewater specifications and sales.Evaluate existing CRM system data as a tool to understand sales effort and success and develop strategies to maximize project win rates.Develop concepts for online design tools for wastewater treatment system engineers and manage processes to create and launch tools.Reporting Relationships:Will report to VP of Sales and Delta Advanced Strategic Business UnitNo direct reportsQualifications:Education and Experience:MBA from top tier universityUndergraduate engineering or STEM degreeAt least 3 years of experience working as a Product Manager for a manufacturer of capital improvement products or systems sold business-to-business with strong influence from technical specifiers/consulting engineers experience with wastewater or water treatment system or commercial building products is a big plus.Competencies:Intelligence - demonstrates the ability to quickly understand new information and creatively solve problemsAbility to design and conduct market research and develop strategic market plansDemonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distanceExcellent written and oral communication skillsSuperior project management and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressureNatural tendency to be curious, positive, and creativeTeam player who collaborates well with othersStrong presentation skillsAbility to understand and explain technical conceptsAbility to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
