What you will do He/she will manage our Fan Coil/Blower Coil/Air Handler product portfolio, with the goal of long-term customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, market share growth, and increased profitability. You will be in charge of the full product life cycle from ideation to end-of-life, and be accountable for all aspects of the business without having direct authority over the resources required to "make it happen". How you will do it Establish and communicate a clear strategy and roadmap for assigned products. Define new product development projects. Work to identify key cost and revenue targets for assigned product areas. Directly support sales efforts in various distribution channels by participation in specific projects as needed, as well as by participation in sales meetings, AHR show exhibits, training seminars, etc. Develop a full complement of sales tools including product rating/selection programs and BIM/REVIT models, and train field sales teams and customers in product application, positioning, and in utilizing the sales tools effectively. Identify and address the underlying future needs of customers. Provide timely and accurate technical support for the regional, and global as appropriate, businesses. Coordinate with design and application engineering to evaluate complex SQ or technical questions for the assigned product line. Spearhead Voice of Customer activity. Author compelling Vision Scope and Requirements documents for new product development. Develop content for documents including engineering guides, sales guides, specifications and presentations. Provide custom or differentiated service to meet customers unstated needs. Collaborate with Marketing in the development of customer-facing sales collateral, marketing strategies and web/portal content. Establish a network among the salesforce to develop an ongoing stream of competitive information. Analyze and draw conclusions based on less-than-complete data. What we look for Required Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field of study. Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC-related sales or technical experience. Business and leadership management skills in a product management environment. Must be technically savvy, pragmatic in style and possess strong knowledge of field and business practices relating to the identified products. Able to envision and introduce creative tools for fast and effective interaction with field sales. Strong organization and attention to detail. Self-starter and can work independently, as well as in a team environment. Preferred Fan Coil knowledge or experience. Product Management experience.
