Job Description

So, what will your new role look like?

As a Product Manager on the ShareGate team, you’ll take full ownership of identifying opportunities, play a key role in shaping product direction, and leading cross-functional efforts to bring value to our customers while continuously improving and growing ShareGate’s capabilities and usability. You’ll be working closely with Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Leadership to make sure we’re building the right things—and launching them the right way.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly influence product strategy and roadmap for a key ShareGate product area, balancing customer needs, market signals, and business priorities.
  • Lead discovery and experimentation to validate product opportunities and translate them into a clear, actionable path forward.
  • As a hands-on builder, you will directly work with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ship meaningful products with high quality and speed.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to craft compelling narratives, launch strategies, and messaging that drive awareness and adoption.
  • Represent the customer voice through research, feedback loops, and relationship-building with our community of users and partners.
  • Actively participate in team rituals and cross-functional cadences, bringing clarity, energy, and leadership to move initiatives forward.

 

A typical week?   

  • Working with the Director of Product Management to align the delivery roadmap and upcoming GTM activities & outcomes.
  • Tracking product usage & educating peers (product, engineering & marketing) on any opportunities to impact them.
  • Conducting customer & partner interviews.
  • Learning & staying ahead of the market trends and opportunities.
  • Planning continuous improvement opportunities for their respective product.
  • Working with the SDMs on execution activities (ceremonies, estimations, release planning).
  • Continuously and proactively working with Product Marketing, Sales & Support teams to educate, support, and plan how they release products & improvements to market.

Our future team will directly lead and impact the growth of ShareGate as a simple to buy, learn, use and love solution for managing data. We see AI playing a critical role in how identify and deliver value to the market, and our mission as the Product Management team is to continuously deliver value that directly impacts and delights our customers and partners.

 

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?   

Expanding ShareGate’s value and market reach beyond today’s capabilities. We are going after new markets, segments and user personas which will challenge our assumptions and “comfort zone”. 

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a Product Manager role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience working in lean or 0-to-1 product environments, with a strong bias toward action and learning.
  • Demonstrated success in leading go-to-market planning and execution, working closely with Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear direction.
  • You are customer-obsessed and deeply curious—comfortable asking the right questions and getting into the details.
  • Ability to work autonomously, lead through influence, and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
