The Responsibilities As Product Manager, you will be responsible for working with other Product Managers and stakeholders to drive the design, build-out, and market release of Transactrsquos next generation of credential-based and open-loop payment applications used by millions of students and faculty around the world. Specific Responsibilities will include Providing subject matter expertise in the point-of-sale product space of Transact Collaborating and interacting with executive leadership and other functional departments in defining product direction, determining work priorities, and designing functional enhancements Executing typical high technology product definition cycle steps of elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation while considering and leveraging industry standards and best practices when appropriate Eliciting requirements- gathering category and product input from sources such as customers, prospects, sales representatives, users, competitors, and industry bodies Analyzing inputs- decomposing inputs into usable product features Synthesizing artifacts- defining use cases outlining information model articulating business rules building business plans Accounting for other constraints- legal and regulatory accessibility maintainability performance scalability usability Working closely with Product Development in the design and development phases of product development Developing relationships and working closely with integration partners Performing competitive analysis for responsible products Participating in the final functional test before release and approval of product releases Using Aha! to maintain and communicate product roadmaps within the pragmatic framework Managing the responsible product lines to meet corporate and division strategic and financial goals The Requirements Required Skills Has a bachelorrsquos degree in a relevant major such as Business, IT, or Computer Science or engineering. Has an interest in and aptitude for business strategy and considerations, the latest concepts in product design, and an understanding of the latest technologies in the web and cloud computing areas. Candidates with an MBA are often well qualified. Has experience in applying technology from point-of sale field related to back-end software, register and payment devices and software, mobile apps, application of APIs, and PCI requirements. Can conceptualize features and functionality from idea stage to implementation and communicate complex information to different target audiences Can travel up to 30 Preferred skills Exceptional written communication skills. Proficient in software product management practices within an agile development environment using Aha! and the Pragmatic framework.
