Product Management Sr. Advisor – Public Cloud Business Development - Remote, US

This Product Manager role will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the public cloud hyperscaler partners and enable offer planning, product management, strategy and offer roadmap for public cloud solutions. This role will partner closely with several ecosystem partners, product engineering, sales, delivery organizations internally and partners, and customers externally. This role requires product management experience and a solid understanding of public cloud solutions. It is highly desirable that you have experience in the operations of hosting new offers and management of existing offers in the public cloud marketplaces.

What you’ll achieve
As a Product Management Sr. Advisor, you will identify new growth areas, technologies, and emerging product/service opportunities for storage and data protection solutions in the public cloud.

You will:

  • Develop, manage, and enable Dell relationships with the public cloud vendors’ product, engineering, and GTM teams.
  • Define, structure, and manage marketplace listings in partnership with Dell engineering, sales, operations, and cloud partner teams.
  • Develop and structure GTM partnership opportunities to increase customer traction
  • Develop, present, and get consensus on strategic proposals internally and with cloud partners
  • Organize project workstreams and track and communicate status to all stakeholders
  • Manage customer and engineering escalations with the public cloud vendor teams
  • Engage with sales teams and leaders on both sides to enable successful GTM and sales outcome
  • Lead the communication with all appropriate extended teams and ensures they are informed and in agreement with all activities needed for the product/program/project/solution to succeed.
  • Oversee and drive products/ solutions through the phase release or solutions release process including business case and resource requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in Product Management and/or Business Development
  • Domain knowledge and experience with public cloud operations. Cloud marketplace experience is highly desired.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as PM, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, tax, & others
  • Highly organized and a self-starter who can work with guidance
  • Excellent communication skills, business acumen and judgement
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; tight deadlines and operating in a very fast paced environment
