IQVIA is a leading provider of information, services and technology for the healthcare industry in 100+ countries around the world.IQVIA Healthcare Solutions is a world leading, specialized advisor on critical business issues for healthcare providers, health systems, patient advisory groups (PAG) and medical specialty societies (MSS), providing consulting, technology solutions, analytics, and workflow support.Our Real-World Networks team is part of IQVIA Healthcare Solutions and focuses on working with healthcare customers to design and implement therapeutic area networks that aim to use data, technology, and analytics to address unmet needs in care delivery and research.The Principal role focuses on leading and helping to scale out our advisory offerings for non-profit (MSS / PAG) and health system customers, including:Selling and delivering consulting engagements aimed at data and research strategy, industry engagement models, and financial sustainabilityFurther developing advisory service offeringsBuilding new partnership models with customers and identifying further sell on opportunities for life science, provider or payor customers.Principal Accountabilities:Meets or exceeds assigned revenue targets by developing and delivering insightful, value-added proposals that address complex client issuesBuilds new PAG/MSS advisory offerings to address customers unmet needsDevelop strategic partnerships with PAGs/MSS around the use of their data and evidence ecosystemsLeads internal cross functional groups to address new partnership opportunitiesDevelops and/or elevates new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leadsSeeks out and identifying new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clientsLeads proposal development to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to clientsProvides follow-up with client after project deliverable have been completed to ensure client satisfactionRemains current on industry, client and competitive trends and directions in order to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues at assigned clientsContributes to enhanced firm awareness in the marketplace, e.g. through speaking engagements, client meetings, publicationsParticipates in annual performance review processes for their project teamsEngages in recruitment and selection of new staffMentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to help develop individuals and our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clientMinimum Qualifications:Strong academic track record including minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred (further personal/industry qualifications are valued but are not essential)At least 8-10 + professional experience in consulting to healthcare industry with evidence of career progressionDemonstrable experience in and commitment to the life sciences and/or healthcare industriesA track record of management, leadership, and people developmentA willingness and ability to travel to client locations as neededPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with Non-Profit organizations (specifically PAG/MSS)Experience working with healthcare data and specifically clinical or quality improvement registriesFamiliarity with research approaches and/or healthcare data (Real World Data, EHR, Claims etc.)At IQVIA, we believe in pushing the boundaries of human science and data science to make the biggest impact possible - to help our customers create a healthier world.
