Principal Software Engineer (Architect)

Turn2Partners is supporting the Director of Software Engineering at an EdTech company based in Washington, DC as theyrsquore building out a software engineering group tasked with creating the companyrsquos next generation digital learning platform for students and teachers. Theyrsquore an engineering led organization thatrsquos seeking a Principal Software Engineer Architect who will be a pillar for this team as they plan to hire 15 additional team members in 2021. Their first line of code was written in 2019 and theyrsquore fully cloud-native, running on AWS, using Node, Typescript, Kubernetes, Lambda, and other AWS services. Theyrsquore looking for an experienced engineer who is knowledgeable in modern software engineering architectures and comfortable designing solutions in serverless environments. In this role yoursquod spend the majority of your time designing and architecting solutions in collaboration with product teams, plus a healthy mix of hands-on coding in collaboration with the development teams.
